Three-Way Trades
I've done two successful three-way Trades already. In the first Nikki offered me a place on her workshop which I traded with Michelle. Nikki got a T-shirt, Michelle got to attend her workshop to get her business going, and I traded another of my T-shirts.
The second three-Way trade was with Kerrin of Talent Finders. She offered me a package of two listings on her site for a year each, in exchange for a T-shirt. DJ Al said yes, and a few hours later Marcel Oudejans said yes too. Kerrin was generous and accepted both DJ Al and Marcel's offers, so I ended up trading two more T-shirts. Sweeet!
I still have a few more three-Way Trade offers that are available, and I've summarised them below. If you would like to know more about any of these, please contact me on onematchstick@gmail.com or give me a call on 083 730 2979.

I found another Mischief Maker
Now I found a fellow mischief maker who had some graffiti of his own to graffiti. And I just couldn't help get involved ;)
Adin is living without money so through his network of friends, he got a friend to help out and pay for the spraypaint and she got one of Donna the Fairy Godmother's workshops in return. That's how Adin rolls: you help him; he adds value back to you somehow. Check out his blog to learn more!
I also wanted to rope in Carol- she didn't know she had a graffiti artist in her until I asked her to help me a few weeks ago with these bits of mischief, and now she just can't wait for me to call her and say the walls been painted white and we need to go get up to mischief again. So if anyone wants something painted on their wall- let me know and I'll get you in touch with Carol- it will make her day!
So Adin found out where to get the real deal graffiti spray paint, and we headed off to Rasty's shop 'Grayscale' in Braamfontein. Rasty's one of South Africa's, even the world's, top graffiti artists, (check out his masterpieces here) and it was so cool to meet him. He's the man to hook you up with spray paint if you ever need some! Go visit him at 35A De Korte Street, corner with Henri Street, in Braamfontein sometime and say the 'matchstick girl says hi!
We went via the Pillars under the freeway in Newtown, Johannesburg for some inspiration, and boy- what inspiration it was! Go check out the pillars next time you're in that area!
Then we went and left our mark on the graffiti wall. What do you think of our mischief making?

Cape Town Premiere of onematchstick, The Movie
We had a fascinating mix of friends arrive! Mongezi was our MC and had the crowd laughing a lot. Adin, the cashless dude, shared about his 7 months of living without money, and some of his plans that he’ll be actioning over the next 4 and a bit years. He launched his competitions to win a years free hosting for websites, and we should hear who the winners are soon.
Eran of Springleap.com also shared some thoughts around the whole matchstick trading idea.
The artist Tuesday Houston came too and gave me the two prints she is trading for two T-shirts each, and I even received some more three-way trade offers for books and coaching sessions!
After the movie and my little speech, there was lots of mingling and exchanging contact details. And then a few of us ended up at Banana Jam for a bit of an after party!A BIG Thank You to all of those who attended the Premieres! It was loads of fun, and both Adin and I appreciate your support and encouragement!
Absolute Magazine vs YouTube Challenge
At the Netweb event I met Fraser of Absolute Magazine – a hip luxury metropolitan lifestyle online magazine. He liked my matchstick business card, and when the one matchstick Movie went live, he and Warren listed it in the magazine.
They got double the amount of views in the first day of the movie listed in their magazine, than YouTube got. So they challenged me, saying they bet they'll get more views than YouTube. Ooohh!
I'm always up for a challenge, so I took them on! We're going to see which listing of the onematchstick movie has the most views by midday Friday 11 December:
The local Absolute Magazine listing OR the YouTube listing.
So help me out. You decide where to view the onematchstick movie, and either go to Absolute Magazine (and I'm not going to help you with a link here to the page to make it easy) or, even better, go and be a true fan to ME and view the listing on YouTube here by clicking here so I win this challenge (I've made it quite easy to go to YouTube here to see the YouTube one matchstick movie - just with one click here you'll get there- easy peasy). And while you're there watching it quickly (it's only 4:51 mins), leave a comment or rating :)
Also let your friends know about this challenge, and get them to choose (the YouTube listing here, of course!)
;)
Thank you!
