Life is wonderful! There is so much to celebrate! And what better way to celebrate whatever is full of wonder in your life, than to throw a party with all your friends and their friends and their friends too!
And no party is complete without music. And if that music is a live band – how cool is that?
After finishing my epic-long 2 year Springleap T-shirt trade last year on 22 September, and then re-energising and also exploring and researching quite a few options for my next item to trade, this is it: a “Rock the House” Party with WONDERboom
WONDERboom will play their awesome rock tunes at your home, for your friends and their friends, your mom and dad and the rest of the family, your dog, the neighbours, (and the second biggest fan of the band who begs you to attend your exclusive party).
Offer includes:
- An exclusive WONDERboom experience at your home
- DJ "JP Silver" to keep the party rocking after the mini-concert
- All production and lighting costs and equipment needed to rock the house included
- Travel costs for the band if the party happens in Gauteng is included (if outside Gauteng, you'd need to cover additional costs- ask me about this)

Behind the scenes of the movie
Here's what a few of the fabulous people I traded with so far, have to say about one matchstick. These interviews were filmed during the making of 'one matchstick, The Movie'.

Another kind of party
There have been discussions about left wing parties, right wing parties, and all political parties in between with the South African Elections last week.
There's even been editing to advertisements to protect the innocent parties involved.
And there have been more questions to me about the Party of the Century.
But no confirmed offers yet... just rumours...
So to satisfy those who may have the same questions on their minds: the 'Party of the Century' is still going to happen. It's just looking for a Candidate to demand to change their offer for the Party with DJ Al your Pal! I'll be voting for the best offer, but will not be auctioning off my right to chose, like this guy tried!
I'm off now to think up a costume for the "emergency room" party this Saturday night that I'm attending! Any suggestions?
Party of the Century with DJ Al for 150 people!
As I finished my yummy peanut and banana smoothly, Al Your Pal rocked up, almost as excited as I was.
Al started DJing at a very early age. At boarding school he used to read the Top 40 magazine and check out all the DJ decks for sale at the back of the magazine, and at the age of 16 he had his first deck. Little did he know at that time that one day he'd be meeting a girl known as the "matchstick girl" (yes- I seem to have collected that nickname somehow!) to trade a gig for a balloon!
So besides being such a hip DJ, who's DJ'd for celebrities and joined Bono walking around Alexandra, Al is also a down-to-earth guy who enjoys a glass of coca cola occasionally. He's also a bit of an adrenalin junkie, and frequently rides his super bike, jumps out of perfectly serviceable planes with a parachute on his back, and even goes to depths to scuba dive. Hence an adventure in a hot air balloon is just up his alley- and he's about to surprise a certain special somebody with this flight and breakfast. But well have to wait to hear more about that- I don't want to spoil the surprise.
1 x Party of the Century for up to 150 people, where DJ "Al Your Pal" from 084Extreme will be pumping the music and ripping up the decks to ensure your party not only rocks, but is the talk of the town for years to come!
You just need to add the bunch of cool people and the funky venue and drinks!

Al's DJ company 084Extreme has been pumping music for 15 years, and comes highly recommended (references available upon request!).
What's included:
DJ Al Your Pal, with all the necessary sound equipment to successfully keep your party rocking!
What's excluded- and you get to choose and add these key ingredients:
- Funky people (up to 150)
- Vibey Venue
- Sustenance (that's all the food and drinks you'll need to keep up the energy to match DJ Al's music!)
Music – You get to choose what genre of music you want- Al knows allllllll genres, and is a fan of all music (although his personal favourite if he absolutely had to choose – which I made him do in the moment - is alternative!)
Date is subject to availability, and Gauteng area only:
The date of the party will be at a time that DJ Al is available, as he is personally going to be DJ'ing this event! So the party has to happen in Gauteng too. If you are keen, check with me if the date you want your party to be on is available, and make me your offer! The party will need to be within 6 months from the day of trading for the party (but if you want your party 6 months and 2 days after trade date- I am sure I'll be able to negotiate with Al ;0) )
